AU CO CRUISES  – 3 DAYS & 2 NIGHTS

DAY 1 : HALONG BAY – LAN HA BAY (L/D)
The first day of your cruise is an introduction to the amazing scenery of Halong Bay and its southern sister; Lan Ha Bay. Cruising through Halong Bay will literally take your breath away, as we pass famous spots like Thien Cung and Me Cung caves, plus Soi Sim and Titov islands. Also located in the Gulf of Tonkin, to the south of Halong Bay, Lan Ha Bay, Ba Trai Dao and the Ho Ba Ham islets offer tranquility and nature at its best, and a guided kayaking tour or a refreshing swim in the Bay’s emerald waters are two of the best ways to enjoy them.

DAY 2 : CAT BA ISLAND – BAI TU LONG BAY  (B/L/D)

Cat Ba Island is famous for its national park, with more than half the island designated. This island, far and away the largest in the Gulf of Tonkin, is covered by a dense rainforest home to numerous indigenous species of flora and fauna. The secluded village of Viet Hai, situated in the middle of this pristine environment, is easily accessible thanks to a short walk or cycling trip  and is where we are developing an organic farm which you can visit.

Bai Tu Long Bay, located a little further east of Halong Bay, is the most remote area of your voyage. The exceptional scale and variety of the geological rock formations in this area are sure to make this a future destination for cruising in the Gulf of Tonkin. A relaxing rowing boat tour through the floating village of Vung Vieng and cruising into the geological park of this bay will definitely be delightful moments for you to remember.

DAY 3 : HALONG BAY (B)
Halong Bay, designated a UNESCO world heritage site for its limestone rock formations, is home to about 2,000 isles and islets of different shapes and sizes, creating a truly breathtaking seascape. At its heart is the highest concentration of limestone rocks in the area and caves and grottoes abound. One of the most beautiful is the Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave. Exceptional because of its size and the shapes which have been created by millions of years of erosion, the Surprise Cave is not to be missed.

Au co Cruise , Auco Cruises, Auco Cruise review with Luxury Halong Bay Cruise

The Au Co – for all travelers seeking a lifetime experience. The Au Co is the first and only luxury cruise operator specialising in offering a three-day two-night voyage through world-renowned Halong Bay, Cat Ba Island and the Gulf of Tonkin. The Au Co ship features the very latest safety standards and represents Vietnamese and Oriental culture at its best. Each of her 32 spaciously-designed private cabins boasts luxurious bathrooms and panoramic balconies.

Auco Cruise - CABINS

The first thing that strikes you about each of our 32 luxury Cabins and Suites is the sense of space, the abundance of light and the level of refinement in the elegant interiors.

Large floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors in the cabins and cabin bathrooms allow natural light to flood in and offer panoramic views of the Gulf of Tonkin. Most cabins and suites provide additional space and comfort in the form of your own private balcony - the ultimate place to relax and enjoy the fresh air, day or night.

Each of the cabins and suites is tastefully appointed with timber floors, handcrafted wooden mosaic furniture and elegant interiors. Each cabin features individual climate-control thermostats, telephone, in-cabin refrigerator, coffee/tea maker, safe box, and hair dryer. Meanwhile the luxurious bathrooms are extremely well appointed with deluxe bathroom amenities.

Auco Cruise - RESTAURANT AND BAR

The elegant and luxurious The Au Co Restaurant has been carefully arranged according to the generating principle of Wu Xing, with the dining room featuring both wood and metal elements. On arrival, guests will notice that the interior elements of the wooden furniture and polished wooden floor help air flow, harmonizing the natural light and wind with the surrounding landscape and mountains, giving guests the feeling of being immersed in nature, satisfying the senses of sight and taste.

Meanwhile, metal elements in the dining room are minimized by reducing kitchen and other electrical appliances in the room, which would just distract from the meal. According to the principle that water nourishes wood, the sight of the Gulf’s water and the sound of soft music are simply used to create a calm, gentle atmosphere, which should stimulate guests’ appetites.

Auco Cruise - Spa

For complete stress relief, why not pamper yourself with a therapeutic massage either in the tranquility of the Spa room or in the open-air Spa area – drifting off into bliss as the cruise drifts along.
